No more student discount...

I've had two reps on chat tell me that the student discount has been eliminated from sprint.. is anyone else hearing this too? it sucks b*lls if it's true..

Its supposed to be 15% off the monthly bill (not the $10 data part tho), go to studentrate.com maybe the discount only works online now? But I guess not in stores or over the phone thats what reps have been telling me..

Last i read its only 23% if your college is in Rhode island. everyone else is 15%

I get 20% off my bill every month for having an employee discount. Should I switch to a student discount for the extra 3%? Is that rate nationwide or does it vary? Would I have to extend my contract?

I registered on the studentrate site and here's the trick, go to the sprint deal, when you're asked fill out a form put "employee at a provista school" in the comments section. I guess provista schools get the 23% off discount instead of the 15%.

Not sure, good question. But, my friend just got a new Sprint phone and she opened up an account at Wells Fargo just for the 25% monthly discount.
