No More 'Via Android' On Facebook

Does anyone know why Facebook has stopped putting 'Via Android' when we update our status with the app? I've noticed those with iphones are having the same probs too. But those with a Blackberry still get the 'via Blackberry' tag under their status. I know in the grand scheme of things it's no biggy but I like people knowing I have an android phone. The 'Facebook Mobile' thing sucks :(
 
It changed when the last version of the app came out a month or so back; I presume it's a branding/advertising issue... that they want to advertise themselves not an operating system.
 
I wouldn't be surprised if it has something to do with Google+ being dubbed the FB killer. I imagine they don't want to advertise Android. Do BB and iPhone's still show up? I haven't noticed, I don't know anyone with a BB.
 
dont know about bb's but i know for sure that iphones come up as sent from facebook mobile.

i dont like it!
 
I do not see facebook lasting for more than another year. If he was smart he would sell it and run with the cash. Most see the owner of FB being a theif and a total ass... I only time I kill my food is when I go fishing. What a total ass thing to do in this age of Green. Hey, lets go kill a goat and eat it !..... he did it to himself ! Then again I have nothing good to say about the other two asses.... Bill & Steve. Good to be in the right place at the right time but most of us can see the real person behind the hype.
 
Yeah I've heard something about it being to do with Google+ too. Although iphones also say Facebook mobile too so not sure if that is the reason or not. Blackberry still has the Via Blackberry and the logo under their status'. I've started using Friendcaster instead just because it says 'via friendcaster pro for android'. I find it better all round though because at least now my friends birthdays are showing up and I get proper notifications etc.
 
I've noticed this... I know people with iphone that comes up facebook mobile... and us droid users fb mobile also... but my nephew just went from iphone to the HTC Status and his post come up with an HTC logo to the left and Status ( phone name ) on the right....
 
Maybe he was using the HTC client? Dunno...

LauncherPro tag still goes through, so I guess they only changed their (FB) own tagging.
 
I posted a video on Facebook last night from my phone and it came up as "via Facebook Mobile"...no mention of Android anymore either. :(

Nope... he has the HTC Status with ATT... he just switched from iphone 4 Monday.... but I'm thinking it must still come up because I think it's built for one of it's main functions to be used on FB....
