Help No network

Hi. First of all, I'm new to this forum. So I'll apologize beforehand if i made any mistakes in making this thread.

Anyways. I got my Samsung Galaxy Mini a few days ago. It was working well until a few days ago. Now my phone can't connect to the network (or whatever it's called) , so i can't call, text, or receive any calls or texts. On the upper screen where the bars that show how good the signal is usually are, there is just a circle with a line across it. Please help!

Your imei number its intact? Verify and tell us..maybe a factory reset help, or you could try a software update with Odin!

Go into settings and then network settings and then mobile network settings

Enable data packet and also "use only 2g networks"

under "wireless and network settings" ensure flight mode is not on

Galaxy23, I'm sorry but what's imei number? I tried a factory reset but it didn't help. And what's Odin, is it an app that i can download from market? If so, I'll give it a go.

Suicidallooney, i tried all the things you said but it didn't work. Although i do have bars now so i guess it's nothing wrong with the signal. But when i try to send texts for example it just says that it couldn't be sent at the time and will be sent when the service is working again.

Try a different sim card in the phone
