I'm a little new to all this stuff. Had phone 6 months. Finally got around to updating it via kies (I just let it do whatever it wanted, thinking up-to-date had to be better somehow) From that point on it doesn't play the notifications ringtone when i recieve an SMS. Makes all the right noises when recieve email or 'charge complete' tone.
I've tried creating a 'Notifications' folder under media to add my own ringtone and the file appears in the list with all the other pre-loaded tones (and yes i've checked the volume) but still nothing.
Am I missing something obvious?
