Help No option to delete contact since u/g to Lollipop

It would seem that since I upgraded to Lollipop I am now unable to delete contacts from the contact app. If I select a contact and then select the three dots the only options I have are:
Share
Place on Home Screen

So how do I delete contacts now?

I tried clearing the cache but to no avail.

Anyone else had this?

Is this a Google contact, phone only or a SIM contact? I certainly have the delete option, but I don't keep any contacts on my SIM.

And for info, what phone model? Because the phone app is one of the things that most manufacturers customise to some degree, if there is a problem it is quite possibly with that particular phone's Lollipop ROM rather than with Lollipop per se.

Just found it. I did not realise that instead of tapping the three dots at the top right, I now have to tap the pencil (edit contact), then I have the delete option there.
