No recipients showing in Gmail Sent folder

Maybe it's been (being) discussed elsewhere, but, for no apparent reason (although MAYBE I flipped a switch without knowing it).......Gmail's SENT folder on all my Android devices (Samsung phone, Nexus tablet, etc) no suddenly, no longer list the RECIPIENT'S name.

There's a column that shows the SENDER's name.........ME........duh! But what I really want to know (without having to open 1,000 outbound messages to look at them)........is WHERE IS THAT message I sent to "Joe Blow" a couple of days back???

Thoughts? Comments? Links to 'old answers' that I apparently haven't seen?

Thanks,
m

Looks to be correct, as all of mine are from me, but not showing the recipient.
Contact Google, must be a glitch since the latest update

My sent folder (for gmail) show to:email@address.com as the recipient whether they are in my contacts list or not. There is a setting to group conversations where, even in the sent folder, it will put conversations together in a threaded view. If I enable that I get the contact name of the recipient and then the number of messages in the conversation. Is that what you are looking for?

I have the same problem. I've seen people complain about it for years. It's odd that google doesn't fix it or at least use the line that it is a feature. I assume the people that work there experience the same problem.
