No ringback when calling certain phones.

Ok so when I call certain cell phones I do not hear ringing to indicate my call is going through. Seems to be mostly when I call sprint or Verizon phones. I filed a ticket with t-mobile but haven't heard back yet. I've tried a new sim and resetting phone with no success.

Ringback is generated in response to a signal from the destination central office. If TMobile tells you it's not their problem, that's probably why - they're not getting the "connected and ringing" signal, so they're not generating a ringback.

Tmobile is looking into it but ill hold my breath. I assume it's their issue since I cannot get ringback from Verizon or Sprint. Very frustrating!

This happens to me but only when I'm using WiFi calling. At least in my case this a tmobile problem.

Just an FYI. My issue was resolved by t-mobile engineering debt. It was a network issue.
