no smiles on x10i

where can I find smiles or emotions on this phone x10i before send a text message I have android v2.1 install but cant find no option on my keyboard or the left buttons on the phone, please advice

On the default keyboard it is second from the left bottom row 12!? and long press it.

I can't see them on the Android keyboard.

If you need to change keyboard, long press in a text input area, select Input Method and choose Default.
