Help No sound when turning on

I just bought an Android TV BOX
MXQ PRO 4k. I plugged everything in and it worked for the first hour, then the sound stopped all together. I have tried a new HDMI cord and it still has no sound. I start it up and it's no sound, I reboot it and I get no sound. Please help

I'm assuming that you have already used the volume and mute buttons on the device remote control, right?

Go to Android settings and 'Digital Audio Output'...
Change the setting to 'HDMI passthrough'...
If this has already been selected, keep that setting.

Unplug the TV from the wall for a few seconds. This actually may work!
It's also worth checking the sound settings on your TV.

I tried everything, new HDMI, different HDMI slots, unplugging it from the box and plugging back in. I think I tried everything and then I turned everything off and waited a few, then turned everything back on and low and behold lol everything worked.
