Help No Sync From LG Stylo 2 to Google account

I have a LG Stylo 2 16Gb 6.0.01 smartphone which is syncing contacts put into GMail to the phone.

There is no sync the other direction from new contacts put into the phone back to GMail contacts.

I have tried many of the posted fixes but still cannot sync back from the phone.

I appreciate you answers.
