No text notification sound

Only in stock messages app. Message+ works, all other notifications work, volume is up

What the crap am I missing???

What phone and Android version do you have?

And, not be sound silly or anything, but have you set a sound for it? You can try going into settings/apps/the default app and then clear cache, that may or may not help.

My bad...S8, 8.0.0

Not silly at all, but a sound is set. I thought it might've had something to do with using a Zedge tone, but went back with a stock one and no change.

I'll try clearing the cache and see if that helps.
