No visual voicemail?

you can either use google voice for your voicemail provider (which will give you a transcript of your messages) or download the at&t messenger app (which is the official visual voicemail solution, if i understand correctly). both have their pros and cons which you can research if you're interested :)

We had a meeting last week. If i remember correctly, the official visual voicemail app from att will be available in the google play store later today for the note. So it's going to be available very soon for those that are not rooted. This visual voicemail is different than at&t messages. It's only available for lte phones.

I've yet been able to get google voice to work. Every time I try to set it up, it errors out being unable to change voicemail number. I've even changed it manually but it still won't work.

i been using youmail, it works great for me and it has really nice options like smart voicemail .. meaning if lets says your wife calls you and whatever you have her under your contact list name and you cannot pick up the phone it will greet her by the name you have her listed in contact and mention your name ..for ex-sample , Hello wife , david cannot come to the phone right now etc ...it works good .. you can leave special voicemails greetings for individual people on your contact list , or blocked numbers etc , you can log in to the site and download the voicemails on your computer or on the app itself you have the option to forward them to emails , text Bluetooth etc ..and its free with up to 200 voicemail if you want more space .. you can paid like 20 bucks a year

Best one I've seen so far is called HulloMail, it's free but some of the advanced features require an annual fee. It's the only one I've found thus far that will show me that I have voicemail messages right on the home screen icon, all the others seem to only let you know with a banner at the top that is useless since it only shows up right after the voicemail has been saved, what good is that? Same goes for most of the email apps/widgets, I haven't found one yet that's free that will show me how many messages are waiting in my GMail inbox.

Is there any visual voicemail apps I can download? My phone isn't rooted.. Thanks in advance.

Hello - Try VisionMail - your voice messages are secure on our server (not necessarily so on GVoice) and saved 4ever. If you like it (sincerely), I am offering forum members 3 months free. After that you can sign up for $3.99 a month or easily cancel. No contracts. Just ping me and I'll make sure you're good for 3 months and anyone else out there that wants to try for an extended period of time as well.

Cheers!
