No VZW News?

OK, all this hype to hear about a VZW phone and all they drop is a stupid T-Mobile phone? Sorry a little buzzed, it is not stupid, just stupid no VZW phone. What a waste waitin gfor 09/10 to hear about Sholes.
 
I was disappointed too. I can't wait to trade in my winmo phone. He said another phone in a few weeks, and I expect that will be the sholes. It has been rumored to have a newer version of android than the rest of the phones, so I suspect they're waiting on a last minute code change.
 
What really sucks is I have had 3 calls from VZW since Thursday to upgrade my phone. I tell them that I am waiting for the Android phones. The people calling have no clue what it is.

To add more insult, I am watching the Michigan/ND game and a T-Mobile My Touch commercial comes on showing a very cool phone. VZW needs to hit a homerun with which ever phones come out first. I guess I am getting a little impatient waiting.
 
I hope they train their reps soon! You must have been so frustrated and pissed when they kept calling.

All I can find still are rumors, but they sound right. We'll know for certain in a few weeks. It sure sounds like the VZW phone is the best of the lot coming out this fall.

Sept. 12 (Bloomberg) -- Verizon Wireless, the biggest U.S. wireless carrier, will provide service for Motorola Inc.
 
I was also really disappointed in Moto for not even mentioning a VZW phone. I'm an Alltel customer, and my contract will be up in January. VZW has a very poor selection of phones, and I wasn't pleased with the costs that come with their plans. So I just took advantage of the TMo MyTouch promotion. It will be unfortunate if the Sholes comes out soon, but either way VZW is ridiculously expensive.

Best of luck to the Sholes hopeful! It looked like a really nice phone. I'm sure I'll regret this.. :rolleyes:
 
Seriously! I signed up for this forum just so I could complain about the lack of a new verizon android phone at Mobilize. Hopefully it will come to us even without a splashy conference event. Otherwise... here's hoping for the HTC desire. :confused:
 
Unfortunately, my VZW account is month to month. My wife just did her upgrade which made it another 2 year contract. I am stuck waiting for VZW to come out with either the Sholes or Desire. In my past experiences, HTC phones are insanely over priced at VZW. Hopefully Android changes something at VZW.
