Help No WiFi

Ok so here is the deal. My Prevail took a crap on me so I bought me a Rush. Once activated everything seemed to be working ok but then I tried the WiFi. It connects to the network and gives me an IP address but does not seem to connect to ANYTHING. Is there something I am missing is the rush not WPA compatible or is there a setting i can check or is it just a bad phone?

EDIT: Also tried to open my network and still nothing.

Have you tryed turning off the phone, boot into recovery, wipe, reboot, then check your WiFi?

Sorry for late reply I have been really busy. But yes I have gone as far as factory reset on it a couple times. I have not rooted or ROMed it yet as I am waiting to see if I need a new one. Everytime I take it to the store I bought it at the WiFi works. then when I bring it home the WiFi works for an hr or two then nothing. I should be getting a new one sometime this week though so hopefully that fixes my issue.
