Well its true Metro PCs will not allow u to use your WiFi if u are late on payment even if u have your own cable company. (I have Bright house).

If someone knows anything about this please let me know. Also any tricks?

I have LG admirer. I pay 45 a month for internet besides metro PCs.

No that is not true I don't even think that would be possible. I am in the same area that you are and have used older metro phones just on Wi-Fi with a brighthouse network. All metro can do is stop your cell signal.

I don't think anybody can stop you from using at home on WiFi . that only happens if you don't pay carrier bill nor the home wifi bill. If the WiFi don't work what u may want to do is remove the WiFi login and put back on and see if it fixes .

+1 what everyone above has said. Metro cannot stop you from connecting to any free (or even a paid) wifi hot spot. If you have wifi at home, you will always be able to connect up to it. If you have a Starbucks or McDonalds, or public library or any other place that has free wifi, you will always be able to connect to it. You just need to know the password if it requires one.
