Help No YouTube icon

Have just purchased a Galaxy Tab S6 SM-T685. During setup I must have pressed some wrong buttons as I have a problem with the YouTube app. It appears as an installed programme in Settings > Apps, but there is no icon in the main App page, and the only way I can open it is via Settings > Apps > Open. I have cleared the app cache and data. I assume that this is a pre-installed app as there is no provision to reinstall it. How can I put this right and if possible I want to avoid a factory reset?

Shot in the dark here, but find your launcher in Settings, Apps, All Apps.

Delete data.

Yes, you will need to reset any settings you had made in your launcher, but at least it isnt the whole device.

Another possible solution is to find the Youtube app the same way, uninstall any updates and then go to the Play Store and update Youtube.

I cant remember which method worked on my Stepmom's Samsung.

"you will need to reset any settings you had made in your launcher" - Can you possibly talk me through this, please?
