Hi, Welcome to the forum!
Without some more specific information such as:
- The make and model of your device
- What version of android you are running
It is difficult to help you.
However on my handset to change the sound settings you follow the following process
- Go to settings
- Scroll down to sound
- Scroll down to the system section
- Deselect 'Touch Sounds'
