Nokia 3 dark circle on screen

This morning I bought a Nokia 3 and this was the first thing that caught my eye. Note that the phone is brand new. It's especially noticeable on bright backgrounds. Are these some kind of dead pixels or something else? I don't know. Is there a way to fix this.

I know it's hard to see, but it is there.

It is faint, but it definitely looks like something is there. The answer will probably be no, but is it there when you take a screenshot (normally hold volume down and power)? If it isn't, then it's definitely a hardware problem.

I'd take it back if you're not happy with it, it's only a day old so they should accept the return no problem.

Looks like something in the back-light diffuser. I'd take it back. get it replaced. IMO once you see it, I think you'll always see it and it will be annoying.
