I hate typing in a web addy and getting the stupid mobile version m.whatever. is there a setting to bypass this and get the actual webpage, in full mode?

I'm running 1.6 on an ADP1

If you download Dolphin, you can actually set the user client to mask it as either an Android mobile phone, an iPhone, or a Desktop browser. I love that, but yes, I hate mobile websites as well; they're always watered down to almost useless proportions.

I have no idea if its in Android 1.6. But in 2.1, in the browser options, there is a mobile version toggle. However, if you de-select it, and your still getting a mobile version, its something the web site does on its end, and there is nothing you can do about it.

I have the same option on my Hero with 1.5.
