Root noob needs unlock bootloader and root help!!

Yes you have to unlock the bootloader (which will wipe your SDCard, so make sure you back up any files), and then you can root.

yes, having an unlocked bootloader is required before rooting.

god bless you i unlocked and rooted. now testing diff roms, any suggestions, id like a rom with oc and beats audio or bravia and tweeks.

In stayed stock, but you can get beats on the play store. No way to uninstall it though, so back up first.
