Noob question about app manager

Basically...how do you use it? I installed it @ the suggestion of a friend (he was recommending "must have" apps) but I don't really understand it. Thanks!
 
I guess I do not understand your question. You installed an app you knew nothing about because your friend said it was a good app to install? Hmm...
 
Yep, pretty much. I asked him about a good task/app manager & this is what he suggested. So, can you help or did you just post to ridicule me?
