I just bought my 1st Smart Phone on Black Friday... Boost Mobile... Samsung Transform Ultra. I bought 2, one for my wife, and one for me. I also bought a couple of Virgin Mobile LG Optimus V phones for my 2 oldest kids for $50 each to simply be MP4 players and digital camera for them to use. Their phone plans won't be activated.
I do like diy projects and messing around with various items. I built my own HD Video Projector 4 yrs ago, after joining lumenlab. I aslo modded my kids Wii and put the home brew channel onto that system, after joining wiihacks... Works nicely.
Today, was at the dentist office while my kid was getting work done. To my amazement the dentist did not have WiFi, and I wanted to get some real job work done, but I could not. Then I thought... I'll jut tether it to my Samsung Transform Ultra. I found out that I couldn't.
So my #1 agenda is to root the my Samsung cell phone, so I can tether it to my laptop.
