Hi,

I just bought a SS Galaxy Ace. It's an awesome phone. But I've silly question:
In the menu there are: "Email", "Social Hub", "Samsung Email", "Samsung IM". What are the basic differences between these? Which one is better?
 
No great differences as all of them do the same... one is by android and the other two are by samsung... thats the only difference...

Which one should be preferred to configure microsoft exchange mails? Do u think it's better to get rid of "Samsung Email" & "Samsung IM"?
 
yup pujitjuneja has done a proper selection as sometimes its a headache and pain to stop the one by samsung...
 
I have set the SAMSUNG Mail and it runs gr8. I have set my official OUTLOOK mails. You can try that also.

Under mail i have done the set up for remaining accounts such as Gmail etc.

Open Samsung Apps from the menu and it will show you that an update is available.. update and you will get both Samsung Email and IM, but I'd say its a pretty useless app.. as IM doesn't deliver half of the messages half of the time and we already have an E-mail app...
 
At the bottom there used to be 4 icons: Call logs, Contacts, Messaging and Menu.
I've somehow messed them and mow I've just Call logs & Menu.
How can I get the messaging back there??

lol nope got that update a while ago to get tektrak,angry birds and the rest but no samsung im...dont worry about it though im happy with what i got :D everything

Go to app drawer, your message app should be in there. Now press 'menu' button and select 'edit'. Next just move the message app to the bottom.
