Hi all,
I have a bit of an annoying problem with the Norton Mobile Security app on a Nexus S. I've been using the app for some time now and have noticed that the GPS location service turns on every once in a while to locate the phone. That's generally fine, but it presents a problem if I am indoors (i.e. work) or in any other area where there is no GPS signal. In these situations the service just runs constantly, trying to get a location on the phone, until my batter completely drains. I've started disabling the phone's GPS in order to prevent that, but it's sort of annoying because then I have to manually turn it on and off every single time I use an app which requires GPS.
Has anyone else experienced this? Are there any solutions or workarounds?
