Norton Security and antivirus

If you hadn't removed the app I'd expect it could have told you (I would certainly want such an app to keep a log).

I don't think anything else will be able to though.

Very few of those security apps keep a full log, you just have to "trust them" to do a good job.

With Android fortunately, if you stay away from foreign software sources, we don't need to worry about viruses.
Not impossible, but very improbable.

I use Norton Mobile Security and have for years (the price is right).

The vast majority of my downloads are from Play Store.

There was situation a few years ago where some malware was being distributed in a few dozen apps from Play Store. I am not aware that it has happened again since then.

Norton's has not identified that it has found any malware since then.

For the record ... it is malware and not virus ... virus is one of the many forms of malware.

How do I view what was removed by Norton Security and antivirus? I have already deleted the app.
If you reinstall the Norton AV app there's a chance the old log files are still on your phone and it can display them for you. But that's pretty conditional -- if you just hit the 'Uninstall' button your odds are better that things like old log files remain. If you tapped the 'Clear data' button before the 'Uninstall' button however, chances are the log files were wiped. Do you recall how you uninstalled Norton previously?
