Not a bad camera

For beginners that is...

If you are just starting out this camera will be fine. The battery life is fine. The night vision is bad and the noise cancelling is non-existent.

But daytime is better than expected and if you use it in your hand it's pretty good. The 1080p seems legit but has fisheye. Yeah, a lot of fisheye.

The bottom line? For $40 from Walmart.com you aren't going wrong, however your phone may be a better option, unless it's not. My Nexus 6p definitely is better, like any final 4 team is better than any Junior High cheerleaders giving basketball a try.

I like mine, which I gave to my wife for her YouTube channel so her phone is always available for calls. In its place, so my phone is always available, I got a 4K Ultra HD for $40.99 from Amazon.

The activeON CX is better in several ways. If Walmart didn't have some strange policy that disallowed me from buying a second CX, I'd have two of them.

Yeah, I'd buy a second one. It's a fun camera, and the water proof case is quite good. So is the case the 4K came with. You can't use the water proof cases on any other camera though so don't get one of them with that idea in mind.
