hey guys!
I am not able to send any files through bluetooth using astro file manager.
whenever i try to send the file its just show below error:--
"cannot sent :Unknown file 0 bytes".
i am using HTC legend (non rooted). Although i can send music or video files through default app.But i want to send other type of files also using astro.
:(:(:(:(:(:(
Please help me. I have tried googling bt didnt find any solution.

PS:-- I have tried "bluetooth file transfer" app, bt no luck.im able to receive any type of file through bluetooth.

Astro will use a bluetooth file transfer app if one is loaded on your phone

I have bluetooth file transfer on my phone and was able to send any file using Astro.

thanx for the quick reply mate. i have tried MEDIEVA btf app. but with that also i am not able to send the files.
please tell me if i am doing wrong somewhere.

Astro will call bluetooth when you select send then select bluetooth, is that happening?

Thanx again for the response!
yup im trying the same steps as u have told. im trying to send .mp3 file.
i select "send" through astro, then "bluetooth", then search for the other phone, then "send".
A notification comes on the notification bar that file is being sent and then failed transmission error (unknown file type).
Please help me!

After you select send bluetooth from Astro you should get a pop up with a list of applications to choose from, this is where I select Medieva. Then the Med app opens.

Sounds like your Med app isn't opening after you select send bluetooth.
.

I've tested this with a few guys at work and the process works the same for all of us.

Mate i have tried with n without "medeiva bluetooth transfer" app. bt no luck. do we need to be rooted to send the files through astro?
Can u tell me from where i can download the working apk of "medeiva"?
Thanx in advance

I recommend another new app called YouCast. It allows you to send files from android to android or android to PC without file size limit. You could download from
market://search?q=pname:com.youcast.android.UI

Thanks to everyone here who contributed info. I just sent a file via Astro to my iMac via Bluetooth! HOW COOL!
