Help not all contacts synchronize to gmail

I have defy and when I synchronize the contacts with gmail only 403 contacts from more then 1300, are transfered from defy to gmail. tried several times with same result.
any idea how to solve it?

You might check Gmail support to see if there is a limit on contacts in Gmail. 1300 is a lot. Perhaps more than their programmers planned for?
