Not getting 4G

Hey folks,

I'm on a verizon-sold Nexus 6. I just spent 2 weeks abroad in the UK using a sim from Three, a carrier over there. Now that I've returned home and resumed use of my Verizon sim, I'm unable to get 4G. It was working up to the moment I left, and I know I'm in an area with 4G coverage. I'm only getting 3G.

I've done everything I can think of short of a factory reset, and I really don't want to do so if I don't have to as I have some app data I don't want to lose. (I'm sure I can back it up somehow. I'll look into that if I get to that point)

Things I have done/verified/checked:
Preferred network type is set to global. Switching to other options have no effect.
Roaming mode is on automatic.
The selected APN is "EHRPD - Verizon Internet". I've tried resetting default APN settings, deleting all APNs and then resetting to default, and using other APN entries that are available, such as ones labeled LTE. None of that resulted in a 4G connection.
I've reprogrammed and updated roaming using *228.

Now I'm pretty much out of ideas. Anything else to try before a factory reset, or God forbid, going to a verizon store?

Thanks everyone!

Some ideas ...

Is another phone right next to yours getting 4G from Verizon? If not it is a tower problem.
Poorly seated SIM? Reseat it.
Bad SIM? Replace it.

I have some bad news for you in regards to saving data, it won't happen unless the phone is rooted.

I would call 611 and get the CS techs there to help you out.

When I have had troubles in the past like that, the CS techs have always been able to sort it out.
