Although I've installed the same TV station apps on my new phone as on the old one, I'm not receiving alerts from most of them. Oh, yes!, I've checked and double-checked each one's notification settings, both in the apps and in system settings.
They're all local stations here in LA: KCBS, KNBC, KABC, KCAL, KTLA. Their alerts are very important to me! Specifically, when there's a police pursuit, I want to know about it--so I can watch on TV.
On my old phone, I'd hear beep, beep, beep, beep in rapid succession as each station alerted, and I'd automatically know what that meant--either a car chase or something actually earth-shaking.
I'm now keeping my old phone next to me so I won't miss any alerts; it's a Moto X 2nd Generation, new phone is a Moto Z² Force Edition running Oreo. Suggestions? Ideas? What else can I check?
