Not loading files

Contacts doesn't recognize that I have extra ringtones.
Complete song files added to phone won't play.
My photos have vanished from gallery but they are still physical on the phone.

Make sure your file format is MP3, ogg, or wav, all in your Ringtones folder.
Gallery is just an app

If your intention was to be totally unhelpful you succeed. Fortunantly I found the answer elsewhere. I deleted .nomedia
