I've had my TF101 for about a year now. One early issue for me was sound, or more precisely, the inability to crank up the volume. My initial solution was to download and install a free app, "Equalizer". Eventually, it caused my HC tablet to become unstable, so I uninstalled it. Now I have installed the newer version, which seems to be compatible with ICS. Then I bought the key lock, which allows me to create and save custom sound profiles. My first experiment is a profile named "Loud", with all five frequency sliders maxed out at 15. Now, my tablet is as loud as I had hoped ... and then some!
