not receiving my texts, don't know where they are

Hi

Only had my Samsung Galaxy Y for a week and I know I am getting texts but when I open my phone they are not there and I can't find an inbox or outbox. Also, a very small message appears when I get a text saying 'message memory full' I am very frustrated.......
