Not receiving text message in ultra power-saving mode

Everytime I go to ultra power-saving mode on the Galaxy S7 Edge, I no longer receive my text messages. I started having this problem with a couple of days ago. Did I do something wrong on my phone? How do I fix this because I tried going to my phone settings I don't have a clue what's the problem.

Ultra power saving mode severely restricts what the phone can do.
(See pg 271 of the Sprint s7 Edge user manual)

When the screen is off,data gets turned off,as does WI-FI & Bluetooth.
I'm guessing this is why you're missing text messages.
I don't know if the messages will appear one the screen is on,or,if you return to normal power mode.
Also,I'm not sure if you can exclude SMS/MMS/phone calls from being affected by ultra power savings mode.

The thing is it was getting text messages while on ultra power-saving mode since I had the phone. It stopped doing it a couple days ago.

The only way to use messaging with Ultra Saver mode is if the screen is already on and/or your doing something with it. Once it turns off all data, wifi too is turned off.
