Help Not responding

Hi! I got an HTC Tattoo over a month ago and it has been working fine, except that at times (more frequently now) it does not respond to commands anymore, it hangs. So I often have to reset it.

Is there a way to avoid this? I find it quite inconvenient, especially when I have only installed a few apps..

I've found my tattoo to be really stable, maybe a factory reset can work? dont forget to backup your data if you do so.
