I have an LG G2 on Verizon network. After the 5.0.2 update my phone won't show up on my mac. Prior to the update, I didn't have any problems with it showing up. When I plug it in via USB now my finder window opens with a verizon readme.txt file. The file reads:
"Release notes for USB Autorun
In the case where the USB is plugged into the handset and recognized as a CD-ROM Drive:
for Windows® XP and Windows® Vista Windows®7
For the Verizon End User Tool Execution, ONLY the Windows OS is supported.
(Note: In the case for all MAC OS systems, the mobile when connected to the USB will automatically
go back to the pre-selected user mode after 30 seconds.)"
Then nothing happens.
My phone won't give me the option to select how to connect to my machine. It just looks as though it's on the charger.
I try again and the same thing happens. When I launch Android File Transfer it gives me a message saying "Please connect and android device with a USB cable to get started." I have searched the interwebs and haven't found anyone with this issue. Does anyone here have an idea what might be going on?
