Not shown on Google Play Store?

My S6 DOES have my Googly account on it, and I CAN access the store and download from the phone.

(Eventually. Kept giving me "No connection retry" foreverrrrrrrrr!)

However on Google Play only my old phones are shown. There's no sign of my Sh*t6? It's no longer a new phone, had it weeks, so any ideas what's wrong?

Does Google hate this phone as much as I do?

First things first, and I'm sticking my neck out here, why do you hate your S6?

And second does your S6 not show up at all on the PC version of Play Store either?

If I access the play store by the phone then I can download stuff.

If I access the play store by my PC then the phone is not shown. It only gives the options of my older Samsung phones, not this one. All were unticked from the "show in menus" box except my previous phone, a Note 2.

I tried unticking the Note 2, so the only phone available would be my Sh*t6..

Got this bizarre, and wrong, message:

"You haven't accessed the Play store app (white shopping bag icon) on your device with this email account"

Tried downloading 'Useful Knots', get that dumb message. Go to the play store with the phone.. it downloads and installs OK. Go back to the play store on PC.. well, refresh the page... it now says "Installed." Cool.

I try another app.. "You haven't accessed the Play store app (white shopping bag icon) on your device with this email account"

FFS. I'm starting to understand why people buy Apple...

Below the next app (some random thing, just testing) it shows a red triangle and "You don't have any devices".

Srsly?

Is this a Sh*t6 thing? An Android thing? A Play store thing? Whatever it is it makes no sense - but I've never had this problem on any other phone.

Why do I hate the S6..? Funny you should ask!

Oh, let me count the ways.... Nah, it would take all night and I have work to do. I can sum it up like this; on the thread about buying an S6 or not, someone talked of waiting for an S7, to which someone replied:

" "It would be safe to assume that the specs would be better than the S6..."

Well that's exactly the kind of mistake I made. I bought the entirely wrong phone.

I repeatedly told the guy in the shop I was finally changing from the Note Series to the S series because I have an active life, I live on Borneo, often jungle trekking through damp rainforest, I go motorbike scrambling there, camping overnight, and fishing on the rivers and South China sea. As such I wanted something smaller, lighter, waterproof, more sturdy and simple, with a great camera and no pen thingy to lose or break.

No more messing about with waterproof cases, no fancy pen, just a small, light, waterproof camera with a phone attached..

Like an S5, but the S6 was even newer and better, right?

I managed to buy this POS just as Samsung decided to make heavy, fragile, glass-backed iPhones with fixed and stupidly (stupidly!) weak batteries, slow USB ports, no SD card option, no waterproofing and no radio.

The battery, which I can't replace, is already weaker than the one on my 3 year old Note (though that was changed to a Mugen Power one, which I do with every phone, until this thing)

And being in Borneo no 14 day period, I'm stuck with this POS for 2 years. I can't even sell it, as it's not mine, belongs to my carrier - I 'only' paid $560 for it, see?

I partly blame the dweeb in the store, who nodded and assured me the Sh*t6 was great for my active life style (and now I discover the waterproof version is called the S6 Active. Haha. Ha feking ha!) I partly blame various biking buddies who kept asking if I had the S6 yet, as it was meant to be so great... and yes, I blame myself for not checking up and making sure that the 6th version of Samsung's flagship phone hadn't TOTALLY gone off in a TOTALLY different direction from the Samsung Galaxy S, the Samsung Galaxy S2, Samsung Galaxy S3, Samsung Galaxy S4 and the Samsung Galaxy S5.

Yesterday I fondled a Sony Xperia thing. So slim and light, yet the battery lasts 2 days, great camera, SD card slot, and it's waterproof. That is so very obviously the phone I should have bought.

I can't even go back to my Note2, as this POS takes a 'nano' card (oh yeah, save some tiny fraction of a single gram Samsung, while making the back of the thing out of GLASS!)

So yeah, I'm kindda pissed.

Well I do, my old Note 2, but I had to change my sim card to suit this S6.

Guess what the S stands for?

Same problem. I want reviews from S6 owners but when I click "from this device" I get reviews from S3 owners. Nothing in settings to change my phone either. I'll just set here until somebody comes along with the solution.
