Help "not sign" icon

In the upper ribbon on my S3, I have the international "not sign" - the circle with the slash through it - between percent battery left icon and the wifi icon. Does anyone know what that is?

Turns off notifications.

screenshot would be nice. But I agree, sounds like no signal if it's between the battery and the wifi.

Yep sorry. I.thought you meant the buttons in the notification area but I think you mean status bar

Everytime I see that notification it's no signal (usually at work where coverage can be poor) been seeing it more since running the Polish version of JellyBean actually.
