Not sure where to start

Hello,
Please forgive me if I have posted this in the wrong section, as this is my first time to post on this forum.

I am not sure if I need to write my own android application for this, and if so I don't know where to start. Or Can someone recommend an android application that will allow an image to be saved and then possibly list 4 to 8 things to be entered in about them?

I am a pretty big avid fisherman and wanted to save information about the lures that I am using. Things that I wanted to save were the picture of the lures (This would be found from google). Then the length of the lure, the brand\model, dive depth, color.

As well as lake location, weather, date and time, if I caught any fish and then the size of the fish-(possibly a picture of the fish).

Any suggestions would be helpful, I have no issues trying to write my own app...or possibly seeing if there was one already written.

Maybe have a look at Google Keep. It may already be on your phone

Or Evernote, or One Note...

All three will give you a 'note book' that you can put your information into, and then you can search and browse to your hearts content. The information is also available through a web interface so you can edit it on your pc when you get back to land (especially useful if you have a big pile of text to enter....)
