Not what I asked for

Recently I thought I downloaded this mp3 on the pc, but when I got back I couldn't find anything playable. When I opened it there was a bunch of files such as dll. Also, there were "shortcuts" I think, for adult dating, win some phone, warthunder, crossout, and warframe. I'm pretty sure I got the names right. I got rid of the shortcuts but kept the "mp3" for now.

Where did you download this "mp3" from? Sounds like it is a program that will install a virus on your Windows machine.

That's what I was thinking but offhand I don't know where. Is there a way to track that? Would Duckduckgo have a list?

Yes in your browser settings should have recent tabs or history...

What do I do then? Can I tell it to get rid of that or never go there again? How do I prevent this from happening again?
