Note 3: Bluetooth not connecting to media

I have a note 3 and an lg hbm-585 Bluetooth. It pairs fine but only works for calls. video and music still play on phone. under the Bluetooth settings on the phone it only gives option to select call audio. any ideas? thanks
 
BTMono. I've been using it for years to force things that are supposed to go to the speaker to go to the BT headset.

Run BTMono, run program you want for music or video, then turn BTMono on and the audio will come through the headset.
