Help Note 3 or Desire 820 - long term opinions?

Whose had these phones for a while now?

I want to upgrade my aging S2 to one of these phablet sized phones.

Pros and Cons of each, and long term reliability/hassles/costs.

Note 3 is a flagship that Samsung will support, desire 820 is midrange might be supported. Note 3 have every feature and is still a spec beast. The 820 is just a big phone, smaller price.

Note 3 is getting an upgrade to Lollipop and has better specs, so for long term I'd go with it over the Desire 820.
