Note 4 "could not do normal boot"

Hi, wondering if anyone can help....
My note 4 has been slow over the last 2 days then this afternoon/evening it kept freezing up if I tried to do basically anything on there. It then started to sporadically restart itself a few times and then repeatedly.
It finally stayed on and thought it was ok, plugged it in to charge and came back to the screen you can see in the attached pics. The image is static and unchanging.
Any help greatly appreciated as I live remotely and rely on my phone a LOT!

I don't know the cause or have a fix, sorry, but it seems to be a common problem, discussed at great lengths over at XDA.

The jury seems to still be out if the firmware alone is the problem or if the firmware update also damages the hardware. I do think that it might be in your best interest to contact Samsung on this one. They do seem to be taking some responsibility for it.
