Note 4 Sprint Camera Resolution ?

Ok, I know most people wouldn't want to have a smaller image for a picture BUT, I really kinda need a image 1280x720 or smaller for so things that I do.

The issue is the smallest resolution image the phone with capture with the camera is 2048x1152 ?

Is is a hardware thing or just the software ?

It's a software thing constrained by hardware.

So, both but if the stock software doesn't offer a picture size small enough, another camera app might.

You can also downrez using a photo editor.

For quick and dirty, I use Photo Enhance Pro.

But the absolute best at that as well as a whole slew of proper editing tools is "Photo Editor"

You can manually specify exactly what final resolution you want.
