Lately these past days, my phone has been just freezing and shutting off and not turning on. I would have to cool it down then it'll turn on. I did a factory reset on it and thought it would be fine as it didn't happen but it did, and now its been stuck in the T Mobile Sign ever since. I can't boot into safe and I already trying wiping the data in the System Recovery thing.

UPDATE: now it just freezes and shuts off and boots up to the Samsung Note 4 and shuts off and repeats. Only way I turn it on if i put it in the freezer for like 2 minutes( is that bad, its the only way to turn it on).
Yes I ordered an extra battery but now I don't even know which battery is new or old because theres no difference in whether it turns on

Hi, if you're certain that the new battery is genuine it looks like a hardware problem, I suggested trying a good known battery from a working phone just to rule out the battery completely, there are a lot of counterfeit batteries out there. Phil
p.s. When I get a new battery I always write the date on the label.
