When I only had a couple of Galaxy S5 phones, both of them were pretty decent about charging on a Qi pad.
I was quite happy with them because I no longer needed to plug in a cord..... grab it and run!
When my Note 4 arrived, I loved the bigger display because 73 year old eyes need all the help they can get... tiny fonts are impossible for me to read.... even when tripling the font size for the System Fonts.
so much for fonts..... I love the Note 4, and it also came with a Speck military grip case on it.
But, using a cord to charge it has been an aggravation... so I installed a Qi coil that "guaranteed 8mm spacing" compatibility....
Well, it never worked for me, on any Qi pad I have.... grrrrr
well, just now, I was using the phone and just up and dropped it on the table, it just happened to land crosswise and at an angle on the Qi pad.... A BLUE LIGHT !!!
I don't believe it, but there it is.... then I got to thinking, ya know, the Note 4 is a BIG device, and the battery is not in the center of the phone, it is on the Left side (looking from the front )
Wallah! Bingo! get the Wireless coil centered over the Qi pad ya little DumKoff .....
I'm all happy again, all is well, and it is Christmas for me 7 days early
