Note 4 Verizon version sometimes locking up

Anyone else have the problem? I am using the stock UI and of course no mods (by default). I waited until this week to confirm the trend. I am averaging about two lock-ups a week that result in the need of a battery pull.

No common event that seems to provoke. Random.

No note 4 for me, but my brother has had it on my plan (Verizon) since release day and he said it's never done this for him.
 
Also on Verizon and using the TW launcher. No hint of a lock up on mine either. I hate to say it, but you may be looking at the dreaded factory reset - unless you've already tried that.
 
Not happening enough to warrant such a draconian step. Works great besides this and did not start happening until a few weeks after using the device. Must be an app, but not sure what app. Many apps and many updates of those apps.

I do not have many new apps so that is easy to isolate. The problem is isolating the updates of all the other apps. Meh.
 
I have not had this issue. I'm sorry you are. Like you said, makes me think you've got a wonky app on the loose. Here's the finding the bugger.
 
Mine has been doing the same thing, nothing in particular has been trigering it, and it just started. I've also been having it freeze when trying to play music through my car via bluetooth. Spotify and slacker have both been having problems. Any of the same problems?
 
Just watched a review on YouTube and the phone lag-locked a few times on him on camera for significant lengths of time, usually when multi-tasking.

Probably going to pass by the Verizon Store later and upgrade to this and try it out before I make a final determination (have 2 weeks :-P ).
 
Yup, I have several a week. Usually caused by either the camera app or the maps. Usually I can turn the phone off and back on, but that is the only button/feature that will work when it freezes.
 
It's most likely a app that's causing it. The only way to find out is to do a factory reset and install your apps one at a time. This is very time consuming but it's the only way to find out which app is causing the freeze up. It's a even bigger PITA if you have alot of apps.
 
I wonder if it's the app itself causing it, or some issues in the preloaded software or stock FW that is causing issues when you have certain apps installed.
 
I think it has to be an issue with the Note 4's FW. Never had the issue on the Note 3 and I don't see my buddy's S4 giving him those kinds of issues either (he used to use the Yahoo! Mail app before I told him to just use another Google Account on his phone instead :-P ).
