Help note 4 weird Bluetooth issue-- please help

My note 4 has recently started to turn the blue tooth on by it self, can anyone kindly tell me some ways i can fix this?

So what happens is, I unlock my phone, drag down for notification bar thing. turn off bluetooth. Lock the phone, then unlock as per usual. After i will see the bluetooth icon come up at top of screen. i unlock my phone and, like magic bluetooth is turned on.

As u may know, with bluetooth running in background it is draining my battery. I'm am barley getting full work day use out of my phone.

to ease my own concerns, i have already turned off visibility.

my last resort is to factory reset, but want to hold off on that as long as i can.

OS version 5.1.1
model number SM-N910g

Any help will be much appreciated.
 
the bluetooth radio simply being on is not a heavy draw, so it's highly unlikely it'll cause high battery drain unless there is something else going on.

having said that, safe mode.... hold power key until get power off/restart options. let go of button, touch and hold power off option, choose to reboot/restart in to safe mode. if the problem stops, you have a 3rd party (aka downloaded app) that's causing it. if not, FDR.

i guess instead of looking for the app that is causing the issue, easiest to just factory reset.

I thought it was something like this, but wasn't sure. Wanted a more knowledgeable opinion. Glad to know there is people like yourself!
 
I never turn Bluetooth off, it just does NOT use any appreciable amount of current when not in service... it is just listening for a signal.

Factory Resets are a bain to our sanity :mad:

I hate having to do one, it takes me weeks to get the phone back to where I had it before....
Even with full app backups, using Nova Primer Launcher which rebuilds all of your homescreens....

it is the loss of each app's data that makes it so unenjoyable.
