Note 5 Alarm Clock

Love 99% of my Verizon Note 5. Disappointment is alarm clock unless I'm overlooking obvious. Had perfect alarm clock on Galaxy S3. Bother anyone else or found workaround besides gazillion clock apps on Play Store? Thanks!

1) Note 5 lacks MULTIPLE snooze intervals (3, 5, 10, 15, 30 mins) & NUMBER of times (1, 2, 3, 5) to snooze. I liked 30 minutes, 3 times

2) Note 5 lacks SMART ALARM (soft pre-alarm) that gradually increases in volume to gently awaken you. I liked "Fairy Fountain"

3) When alarm pops up, there's NO snooze option even though I set it. Can only cancel it

WOW,that is a rather bare-bones alarm.
I know you said you were leery of another clock app on your phone,but,I always side-load HTC's alarm/clock:

Google Clock has more fine-tuning for the snooze feature,right down to the minute.

However,neither of these have the gradual awake feature,I'll look around & see what I can find........

I was also REALLY missing this small feature from my previous Samsung phone. The 5 minute snooze was making my mornings angry! haha.

I tried a few options and settled on this:

It has everything I was missing and then a little additional!

Thanks so much!! The FREE alarm clock you sent will do just perfect! Was able to set snooze length I prefer and number of times I can snooze. ONLY missing GS3 "Smart Alarm" (pre-alarm) but I'm adaptable to change!!

I downloaded FREE click KOLIO posted link to above. Got everything I need but SMART (pre) alarm on my GS3. I looked at Play Store link u sent but don't see the pre alarm .... so I'll save your link and $1.99 for now. BUT, I did find the "do a math problem so I know you're awake" feature hilarious! I may download just for that early morning fun! Thanks for responding!!!

I'm not too picky but the one I use is called Timely. It allows for configurable snooze settings, multiple alarms and a gradual wake up set of tones or music too. I use it all the time. Open to learning about better ones.

To snooze on the Note 5 I'm pretty sure you swipe the X to the left and to disable you swipe the X to the right. It's strange but it does have both options!
