I currently have a Note 3 and am looking into getting a Note 5. With the Note 3 I have had some charging issues over the years some cable issues but most have had to do with the amount of power the device is drawing. I use my phone for Navigation in my Truck and Motorcycle so the screen is 100% bright with GPS on, map program running and streaming music. I have found that if I am not using a 5v 2A USB port the battery still drains.
My concern with the Note 5 is now that it has the quick charge needing 15 Watts (9v 1.67A) vs 10 Watts (5v 2A) will I have the same issue using the 10 Watt as I did using the 5 Watt (5v 1A) with the Note 3? The second part is, I would like to be able to use the Wireless charging and the bulk of the Qi chargers are 5 Watts. The new one from Samsung is able to produce 15 Watts but for lack of available options for the 15 Watt chargers will I be able to run 100% screen bright, GPS, and Music and still charge the phone off of the 5 Watt wireless charger?
